Like most things, cell phones, cars, even medical needs, things have changed and in most cases technology has been added to create less reason for paper pushing and more room for progress and results. Education is no different. Teachers keep their grades on computer, students use laptops and have create a number of projects through PowerPoint. Introducing new ways to learn and teach has maximized how much a student can learn and retain from one class. Not to mention with the tech-savvy generation we have attending school, students are more apt to participate in class, complete assignments, and get better test scores. Education via technology also includes parents. A lot of school districts allow parents to keep an eye on their child’s progress via text and e-mail. As big brother as it may seem technology is making education a lot less like doing your homework.
