Classrooms all across the country are advancing just as quick as the Internet and other forms of technology. Traditional classrooms that used to have a chalkboard and student desk, now is considered a smart classroom with interactive whiteboards, computers, DVD players and projectors. As with all technology the smart classroom is always changing and evolving over time. There are hundreds of new products being developed every day to improve the way that smart classrooms bring knowledge to students.

Here is a look at some of the up and coming technology elements that will improve smart classrooms all over the world.

The Interactive WorkTable. This interactive worktable is a table that is designed with early childhood education in mind. It has a touch screen tabletop that allows children to interact with each other and the programs that appear on the table. This is one of the first multi-user interactive tables on the market.

Smart Slate. The smart slate looks like those old chalkboard slates that schoolhouses used to use and allow the teacher or professor to be able to write a number of things on it while it appears onto the screen. This is a portable tool that allows teachers to wander around the classrooms and interact with students while teaching.

Smart Assessments. These are tools that allow teachers to be able to track and watch student progress in real time. Instead of having to crunch all the numbers and worry how a student is doing later on, these real time results can track student progress and test results and give the teacher readouts on what is going on in their classroom.

The way students and teachers see the classroom is really changing. With these technological advances students are able to have a more interactive classroom environment that will be able to enhance their learning.
